Mirta Rice, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
With sensitivity and compassion, Dr. Rice can help you develop the skills and tools to assist with a wide range of life challenges. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Montclair State University and her master’s and doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Rice completed her clinical internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and her residency at Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Florida Psychological Association.
Dr. Rice provides individual and group psychotherapy to adolescents, adults and older adults. She is caring and enthusiastic in the treatment of anxiety, depression, adjustment problems, fears, trauma, grief, panic disorder, stress, weight management, chronic pain and illness.
In addition, Dr. Rice provides psychological evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. She is also fluent in Spanish and communicative in basic American Sign Language.
